All process and systems exhibit variation, and one of the most important aspects of managing Quality are the management and reduction of variation. 
Acknowledging and understanding variation is the fundamental aspects of quality concept. Variation is an important consideration in the quality, because more the things vary, the less we can be sure that our customers’ expectations are met.
We know that things will vary, yet we have to constantly work for reducing variation, so that our products and services become more consistent.
